Why CA?

Conservation agriculture (CA) is generally a "win-win" situation for both farmers and the environment. Conservation agriculture aims to produce high crop yields while reducing production costs, maintaining soil fertility, and conserving water in the soil. It is a way to achieve sustainable agriculture and improve livelihoods by using 3 principles: (1) Minimum soil disturbance as little as possible (2) Covering the soil with Mulch or Green Manure Covers crops (GMCCs) (3) Crop rotation.
